Nuff Orchestra

Neil ‘Nuff’ Stainton
Neil has been producing records since the late 80’s. He produced
several tracks on the groundbreaking debut Album by East 17 ‘Walthamstow’
and throughout the 90’s wrote, produced and mixed many club
hits including the Shawn Christopher classic ‘Make My Love’
A few years ago Neil also started to work as a DJ playing a funky
breaks style, he is now a regular at Famous nights at Panama, Amsterdam
and will be playing in Ibiza this summer. His gig news is included
in the news section.
To Neil. Nuff Orchestra represents the chance to return to his
musical roots, and to play with an awesome band. And of course to
wear more hats.
L.A.D
L.A.D. from South London has been MC’ing and singing all
his adult life, a regular on the UK garage scene and also a pirate
radio DJ he has a massive vocal range stretching from his unique
singing style to his hugely intelligent flow. His music has overtones
of Curtis Mayfield and Prince, his flow is his very own - we hate
to compare him as we believe his talent is unique.
Chris Madin
Chris Madin, hails from Doncaster, England. He is a trained classical
musician – and in Neil’s opinion is one of the very
best vocalists with whom he has had the pleasure of working. Unbelievably
Chris is only 20 years old – his is a voice that you will
definitely be getting used to in the months and years to come.
Michael Kruk - Drums
Mike is quite simply an awesome drummer, a former BBC Young Musician
of the Year, as a session player Mike has worked with The Planets,
Avril Lavigne, Jack Bruce and many more including playing at the
Queens Jubilee concert at Buckingham Palace, the Brit Awards, the
Classical Brits.
You can hear his drumming on Katie Melua's quadruple platinum Album
'Call off the search' and in the blockbuster feature film 'The Phantom
of the Opera'.
You name it Kruky's done it.
Dan Hawkins - Bass
A bass player with panache, Dan has been playing since he was 11
- then (and we are not joking) by the age of 12 he had performed
at The Royal Festival Hall, The Royal Albert Hall, The Queen Elizabeth
Hall - before jetting off to Paris to play his first session at
the notorious Cirque d'Hiver.
Since then Dan has worked with many different Artists at hundreds
of gigs.
Dan also looks great in a hat.
Tommy Caris - Lead Guitar
We suspect Tommy to be a bit of a dark horse as so far he has proved
to be the 'quiet shy one' - although this must be some kind of split
personality thing as this shyness is not reflected in his playing.
Tommy also wears a mean beenie. |
